I live in Southeast Wisconsin, and I have spent about a year looking for handicap accessible docks, and finding a place that I could enjoy. Since there’s so little information out there, about where to go I am excited to find a website that shows easily accessible places to fish near where I live. I live near Milwaukee, but this website has many different regions, so wherever you live you can find a place to fish. The handicap accessible docks often have railings, or no stairs to make it easier to navigate your wheelchair towards the water. Use the website to search by your region to find a place close to you to go fishing. The website also offers links to adaptive fishing equipment, and finding accessible boat docks. Here’s the website: http://dnr.wi.gov/topic/OpenOutdoors/accessfish.html.

I look forward to seeing everyone out there!
