I’d like to personally welcome you to the Fishidy blog. I’m Brian Jensen – the president of Outdoor InSite (the driving force behind Fishidy.com). We’re excited about a lot of things, but mostly about helping you find fish, connect with buddies and keep track of your fishing experiences in one convenient, information-filled spot. That’s why we created Fishidy. I’m a fisherman. In fact, most of our founders are avid anglers who would rather be on the water than in an office (don’t get me wrong, we’re very committed to the business – we just really love fishing).

After just 10 weeks of being around (we officially launched at ICAST in July), Fishidy.com has gone through some pretty major enhancements. And, we plan to continuously evolve the site to make it an even better, more robust resource for all your fishing needs. Pretty soon we’ll be adding lots of cool, new features to help you get even more information about waterways you’re interested in…but we can’t give away all the details yet or that would ruin the surprise.

One of the most important things to me (all of us actually) is to make sure you know how important your feedback is to Fishidy. This is your site – it was made for you and we’ll do our best to make sure it always lives up to your expectations. If you have ideas, suggestions, feedback for us, please make sure you let us know. We’re always listening. You can send comments to info@outdoorinsite.com anytime.

We’ll be posting to the Fishidy blog every week, maybe even a couple times every week. And, we’ll have lots of different people contributing to the content including our Fishidy pro staff, college fishing expert, our development team,  Fishidy Founders and maybe even the bait shop owner down the street. You just never know. We’ll also be posting helpful Fishidy tips – these will include tips for using the site as well as fishing tips, so keep us on your radar.

Thanks for your continued support and use of Fishidy. The more you use it to track your time on the water, your catches, your favorite waterways, photos, etc., the better it will be. Make sure you connect with others on Fishidy, and don’t forget you can choose to share all your information with just your buddies, a group, everyone or just keep it to yourself. It’s totally up to you! I suggest you log-in to Fishidy right now and connect with Trevor Knight, Jordan Truttschel and myself – we fish a lot, have lots to say AND we’ll accept your request, I promise!

And that’s Fishidy!
